GRO\u2019's journey to Qatar began at Web Summit Katar\u2019, where the company first connected with local investors.<\/p>\n
The initiative, founded by Mariia Shevchenko and a team of Ukrainian and German co-founders, later decided to establish its headquarters in Doha\u2019.<\/p>\n
Shevchenko Euronews\u2019e said the company plans to move to Katar\u2019a full-time as it enters the next phase of growth.<\/p>\n

This move will support the company's expansion in the Middle East\u2019.<\/p>\n
The investment in GRO\u2019 was announced on Thursday with the launch of GrowthX Capital\u2019, a new venture fund aimed at attracting international founders Qatar\u2019a.<\/p>\n
The fund's founder, Snoonu CEO, Hamad Al-Hajri, said he plans to invest QAR500 million (\u20ac119 million) in startups over the next five years.<\/p>\n
The launch event was held at the Qatar Chamber\u2019 and was attended by Qatar Financial Center (QFC) CEO \u2019 Mansoor Rashid Al-Khater and Dr. Olga Rivina, co-founder and president of the Ukrainian Business Forum\u2019 in Qatar.<\/p>\n
