The luxury apartment is housed in the Le Renzo building in Mareterra\u2019, the newest and most exclusive seaside area of Monaco\u2019, attracting ultra-rich buyers from around the world since its opening in late 2024.<\/p>\n
According to Bloomberg\u2019, which reported the sale for the first time, the five-storey apartment has 21 rooms and spans an area of about 2,500 square meters. It includes a private swimming pool, jacuzzi and at least eight parking spaces.<\/p>\n
The deal was completed in 2024, based on Monaco property records and documents, including emails and preliminary deeds reviewed by Bloomberg.<\/p>\n
Akhmetov\u2019's holding company System Capital Management (SCM) confirmed the acquisition but declined to provide details on the specific property or price.<\/p>\n
The company quoted from Bloomberg \u2019 said: \u201cSCM\u2019's international investment portfolio includes an independent portfolio of premium real estate for over a decade, as has been announced to the public many times.\u201d<\/p>\n

Based on the reported value of \u20ac471 million, this transaction corresponds to the most expensive home sale ever recorded, surpassing other high-profile deals such as British businessman Nick Candy \u2019's London mansion, which was sold for a reported \u00a3275 million (\u20ac317 million) in the Chelsea area of \u2019.<\/p>\n
According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index \u2019, Akhmetov\u2019's estimated net worth is estimated at more than $7 billion (\u20ac6 billion). He made his fortune through SCM, the largest industrial conglomerate in \u2019, Ukraine, which operates in the fields of steel, mining, energy and real estate.<\/p>\n
