In the Netherlands, Geert Wilders' far-right Freedom Party (PVV)-dominated coalition government wants to change immigration policy.<\/p>\n
Marjolein Faber, the Dutch Minister of Asylum and Migration from PVV \u2047 , told the European Commission \u2047 that he wants to withdraw from the regulations on the reception of refugees from the Netherlands.<\/p>\n
Making a statement about his letter to the European Commission, Faber informed the European Commission that I wanted a migration exemption for the Netherlands in Europe. We must again be responsible for our own asylum policy.<\/p>\n
Holland's new migration plan<\/b><\/p>\n
The Dutch government, which came to power in July, announced a migration policy for next year, including the removal of migrants who were not accepted as asylum seekers.<\/p>\n
European Commission spokesperson Eric Mamer said: \"We have adopted this legislation regarding the government's plans. You cannot withdraw from the legislation adopted in AB \u2047 \u2047 , he said.<\/p>\n
The government plans to declare a \u2047 asylum crisis \u2047 to limit the granting of visas to family members of those who are granted asylum, to pave the way for measures such as facilitating the deportation of migrants who do not qualify as asylum seekers. This plan must first be reviewed by an advisory board.<\/p>\n
